The projects are located in downtown Odessa, Ukraine, on the northern shore of the black sea. The site is the intersection of Derivasovskaya and the end of Alexander Prospect. Both of these major urban arteries meet perpendicularly at the Greek square. The client owns two ruined 19th century buildings, which have been recently landmarked. They are called the imperial and the Moskovskaya. They are at both corners of the abovementioned intersection.
The program given to us by the client includes the following:
The imperial center - a commercial center located within the existing landmarked building, an office center located within the new attached building, and an underground garage.
The Moskowskaya center - a five star hotel located within both the existing landmarked building and the new attached building.
