The house stands on a rocky outcrop in the highlands. Two stone cubes define and hold the private and the public zones of the residence. In the public block the rooms jetty out like oversized balconies facing the world; the stone cube that supports these rooms is dark inside. It is the part of the house with an extroverted character. In the private block, only the masses that define the rooms jetty out, their openings however face the inside of the stone cube that holds them; a sky lit cube full of light: a patio. It is the part of the house with an introverted or intimate character.
