In the process of doing these, we also identified existing residual spaces in the block that can be of interest to keep. These “accidents” of the block are witnesses to the layers of urban development history and if injected with new secondary functions we can, on the one hand, prevent them from becoming mere urban fossils and, on the other hand, they can contribute to give the block a deeper local character.
